あらすじ

家名も使命も捨てさり、シエロとともに安息の地を探して旅立った二人は、これまでの空白を埋めるように、お互いの過去を振り返りながら語り合う。途中立ち寄った森で、シエロと別れるロミオに心を痛めるジュリエット。苦しみにうなされるジュリエットを優しく包み込むロミオ。互いの悲しみを代わってあげられたら…… と二人は思い、絆を深めていく。川辺で見つけた小舟に流されながら、一夜を明かす二人。小舟の上でジュリエットは幼い頃の夢を語る。子供の頃憧れた花嫁の様になりたかった、と……。

Translation:

Throw away family's name, mission, and others who are now searching for them, Both of them go on a journey together to bury their former blank and the mutual past. At the middle of the forest where they stop, Romeo kindly holds Juliet who suffers from a nightmare.

Both of them find the small boat nearby the river. On that night, Juliet tells Romeo on the small boat about her dream to become a bride, and.......

あらすじ

月明かりの中、素性を知りながらも気持ちは変わらないというロミオに、ジュリエットの気持ちは揺れる。

明くる日、ロミオは父がペンヴォーリオ一家を暗殺しようとしたことを知り、憤りに似た悔しさを感じる。

オーディンは再会したティボルトからランスロットを憲兵に売った相手を告げられ、初めて憎しみの感情を覚える。だが、その剣を結局振り下ろすことはできなかった。

正義の心でも、憎しみの心でも、自分は人を斬ることができない……自分の弱さ、甘えを知ったオーディンはティボルトの腕の中で慟哭する。

Translation:

In the moonlight, even though Romeo already knew Juliet's true identity, his feeling for her does not change.

The following day, Romeo learns that his father had tried to assassinate Benvolio's family. This causes him a mix feeling of regret and anger.

In their second encounter, Tybalt informs Juliet of the one who sold lancelot to the military police. Even though Juliet finally learns the feeling of hate for the first time, she couldn't manage to lower her shaken sword.

As neither heart of justice nor heart of hate is enough to kill the person...... realising her own weakness, Odin wails in the arm of Tybalt.

"Prelude to Revolution" is the RomeoxJuliet documentary available for viewing at RxJ Official website [1]. This promotional video consists of the introduction and commentary from RxJ producer, voice actor and actress which can be divided into four sections as follows:

Mischief of Fate
The story of Love and Revolution

We start with Antonio (Ryou Hirohashi) looking for William (Inoue Kazuhiko) until he is interrupted by Cordelia (Miyu Matsuki ) who informs him that his 'Willy' needs to go and prepare for his new story. After that their conversation is directed toward the main script leading us to the revelation behind the scene.

Act 1
"恋てさ, どんなもの?"
~"What is love?"~

Narrated by Inoue Kazuhiko, this section contains the brief introduction that grounds the story behind the current situation in Neo Verona. Starting from the tragic night 14 years ago, the Montague's order searches for the last descendant of Capulet family- Juliet who currently disguises herself as a young boy named Odin, and bravely protects the city under the name of the mysterious "Red whirlwind".

Despite their differences and the cruel reality, Romeo and Juliet fatefully meet and fall in love. However, the revelation of Juliet's truth on her 16th birthday starts the wheel of destiny. My favourite part of this film is at the end of this section where the production quotes all the characters' statements. Their thoughts and wishes clearly show us that even though all of them are on the opposite side, they are all looking for the new era and struggling for love.

Act 2
"革命なのか, 愛なのか"
~Love vs Revolution~

Fumitoshi Oisaki, a RxJ Director, (Feel free to blame him if anything happens to our dear characters XD) confesses that he would like to use this story to introduce the Real love story that everyone has already known, but has not yet been seen. The combination of romance, fantasy, and action that are translated into the mischief of fate, flying continent and fighting heroin, is the definition of RxJ's "pure love" (=PG-13?) and "revolution" that he would like to convey.

Act 3
"名も知らず出逢ってニ人"
~Anonymous Encounter~

Daiki Harada-san, a RxJ character designer, points out his view about the meaning of youth, love and drama. Act 4
"誓いの剣とりて斗うは, 祈りと恋の物語"
~The pledge of this sword and battle is the tale of love and prayer.~

This section is mainly about their imported music, Australia orchestra and Lena Park. Although I really love Raise me up~ Orchestra version, but where is our12012? Lena Park is so cute and looks so young. Her opinion about the song is very interesting.

So far, this film doesn't spoil us anything more than what we already know ;-). Personally, I'm very impressed with their narration script, and wonder how this love destiny will be raised during the breath of this revolution and overcome the frail cruelty. Will the sweetness of irises be able to rise up in the battle of justice and agony? Urr... I really need to stop writng this XD

Both of them was requested to be dressed in the MATRIX theme. William was dressed in Trinity outfit which I tried to make it a bit masculine, and used filter:Plastic Wrap for the texture. For Romeo, I got the dress from one of Rick Owen's Ready-to-Wear Collection.

This is the rough diagram for RxJ character relationship. And just a precaution, even though I still don't understand about the rule and credit thingy, I might have to clarify this for you all just in case anything happens again:

[1] Most of the images I used are taken from RxJ official website [1], but I personally captured Chief and Lancelot from RxJ episode 3 [2]. Even though, I put everything together myself and redraw William's, Romeo's and Juliet's family crest, I would say that this chart belongs to Gonzo.

[2] Since I am not Gonzo and only watch episode 3 so far, I might did something wrong with these charcters' relationship. If you know, please feel free to let me know. I will definitely put you on the credit list and will love you more than Mercutio~

[3] About credit, it will be very kind of you to do that. Since this is not my artwork, as long as you leave your message here, I'm fine with anything you would like to do with this picture.
